The Toronto native has proved himself as one of the best rappers of the decade, if not of all time as he has produced multiple diamond records and has won four Grammys during his time in the music industry. On top of that has created one of the biggest record labels of all time, OVO. Drake has been extremely indulged in the basketball community, making a presence at various Toronto Raptor games. OVO has had many collaborations with the Raptors as there are three different OVO X Raptor jerseys that have been worn during the last few season and there is also an OVO day, where the Raptors court has been modified to have the OVO logo (an owl) on displayed throughout the arena. On top of that, Drake has had a contract with Nike’s Air Jordan which was signed in December of 2013. Since then they have released six sneakers together, two Jordan 8’s, two Jordan 10’s and two Jordan 12’s, all in a white colorway and black colorways. While warming up with Kentucky Drake decided to wear an unreleased Retro Air Jordan 13 Flint which was an iconic moment in the hip hop community.

The Jordan 13 models is one of the most memorable sneakers in the history of Jordans, as it was the last model that Michael Jordan won a championship with the Bulls in. On top of that, there are many famous colorways of the 13s that Jordan wore during his career, such as the Cherries, the Breds, the Navy lows, the “He Got Game”’s and many more. One of the most notorious sneakers that Michael Jordan wore in the Jordan 13 model was the Flint color, which as of today is going for a whopping 700$ USD. The Jordan 13 Flint is made up of a white leather toe box that goes all the way up to the tongue. The midsole is a mixture between white and dark grey. To contrast the midsole and toe box is a navy blue upper which compliments the blue Jumpman sign on the tongue. Ever since the day Michael played in them during 1997, everyone wanted them. They released in 2005 and 2010 but haven’t been retroed since. They were rumored to be releasing during 2017 but never did. As of 2020 many different sneaker websites had them releasing on April 18th, which never happened. Following that they were supposed to release on May 2nd, which also never happened. As of today they are supposedly releasing on May 30th. A sneaker Youtuber named Qias Omar who has over 2.6 million subscribers cumulatively on his three channels had done an unboxing of the 2020 Retroed Jordan 13 Flints which he posted on May 8th 2020. As of this video we know the Jordan brand has indeed produced the retroed version of this pair, but haven’t decided when to release it. Many people think it won’t ever be released, while others think it’s releasing on May 30th. All we have to stay is keep your credit cards by your side as this pair could be releasing anytime.

Update: Nike released a small supply of the Flints moments before the last episode of Netflix's The Last Dance dropped on Sunday night. They sold out in minutes and will be released officially on May 30th in full family sizing.
